River of Emotion
The blade glistens in the light I can see the blood stains on the silver from the many times I used it. The music blares in my ears I lower the blade of the knife to my wrist and press and....pull at the exact moment I always pull the blade across my wrist the exact moment that the song changes from loud and scrams to sad and lonely. The emotions of the week spill out in a river of blood along with all the thoughts of just slitting my thought and ending my sad pathetic life. My blood runs down my wrist and into the sink which I hold my hand over. The smell of blood fills the air and my body fills with the sense of relief and serenity and oddly enough a slow throbbing pain in my arm from the five not three or one new cut but five new cuts on my wrist. I feel the pain and smile and say aloud "this is as good as it gets!" I close my eyes and find myself standing next to a lake of blood with rivers of blood and emotion feeding it along with my own river of blood and emotion. I open my eyes and smile sensation of peace through my body and realize my blood is a river of emotion.

Wow. Very intense and with incredible detail and insight. I'm anxious to see what other kinds of things you write.
